What's been going on?

I haven't written anything is a while. It's been a busy month. Yancey decided to run for Granville County Clerk of Court. That has taken a lot of time. My dad's father, my papa, passed away about 2 weeks ago. I still am in shock about it. In fact, I am more sad now then I was during the actual funeral. Thankfully, he passed away without being in any pain. Emma Lou has started to become more interested in the potty! She also has gotten a "big girl bed". She moved to the next class at school and got rid of her paci and sippy cup at school! Also, the weekend before my Papa passed away, David's mother passed away. It was not a good two weeks. I am thankful for this past weekend with sunshine and fun times with my family.
