Beach Vacation

The last week in May we went for our family vacation to the beach. It was our family, Yancey's parents, his sister and brother in law, and their children...oh, yea, and 3 dogs! Yancey and David didn't get to stay the whole time because they needed to go back to work. We had a great time! Emma Lou LOVES the beach. She ran right into the water...NO FEAR. By the end of the week, Yancey got James to like building sand castles. He just can't stand to have sand in his shoes. We went to the aquarium, flew kites, made cupcakes, watched movies, ate Popsicles,colored with side walk chalk, played in the little swimming pool, played on the beach,and James got to sit in an excavator. That had to be the most exciting thing to him! Two houses down, they are building a new house. James and Royster would go and watch them during the week. One day, the guy driving the excavator told James that if he came back the next morning, he could sit in it. So at 6:00 the next morning, James was ready! We were able to get some great pictures! I can't wait till we can go back!
