Strep Throat and RDU Airport

This weekend James starting running a fever and acting puny. After two days of the fever and saying his throat hurt, I took him to the doctor. Turns out he had strep throat! Thankfully, he didn't feel too bad, so we headed to the RDU observation deck to have a lunch picnic. My aunt Julie went to help me with the children! It was a perfect day for a picnic!

Having Fun on Sunday

This past Sunday we were able to just hang out as a family. There was an open house at the local fire department, so of course, we had to go check that out. James and Emma Lou both got fire hats and we got to watch the fire fighters race to see who could get dressed in the uniform the quickest. After that, we headed home to carve pumpkins. I think Yancey and I had more fun then James and Emma Lou did!

Finally feels like Fall!!

Thankfully it is starting to feel like Fall! Yesterday, I got to go with James' class and the 4 year old class to Hill Ridge Farms in Youngsville. The kids had the best time! I absolutely love this "school"/daycare. The staff is great and not only are they watching my children for me, they are teaching them Godly ways, education, and letting them have so much fun! James and his "buddies" were wide open at the farm. I'm so grateful for these friendships!
