9 Months!

James turned Nine Months old today!!! I can't believe that he will be a year in only three months! He is so much fun these days. Here are some updates:

He wears size 12 month clothes
He wears size 4 diapers
He can feed himself finger foods
He drinks about 4 6oz bottles a day
He can crawl
He WANTS to walk!
He goes to bed around 7:30 at night at sleeps till about 6:00-6:30 in the morning
He weighs 22 1/2 pounds
He is 28 5/8" long

Boys will be boys!

Tonight we were able to have some of our friends over who all have little boys. The boys range from 10 1/2 months to 4 months. It is so exciting to think of all the adventures this group will have in the years to come!




James: 8 1/2 months

Parker: 7 months



Matthew: 4 months

James has learned how to pull up on things and one of those things is his crib! We have lowered it all the way and hope he doesn't make a habit out of this!

Lighting Strikes!

We had a really bad storm in Oxford last week and 2 of the trees in our front yard got struck by lighting! Bark flew as far as our front porch!

101 Years Old!

Mrs. Nellie Gray McFarland turned 101 years old this week. Nellie Gray is a special friend of the Washington family. She actually came to my first Christmas with Yancey's family. This woman is incredible. She still lives by herself in her own home. James enjoyed getting to see birds on her paito. There were several humming birds, I just wasn't fast enough to get pictures of the birds. It was wonderful to spend time with her and I can't believe she is actually 100 years older than James.
