Supper Club!
It has been a little over a year since our supper club started! There are 6 couples and we take turns hosting the group each month. The hosts family does the main dish, and the others make the sides, desserts, etc. We have a great time and it is something I look forward to all month!
James is Three Months Old!
I haven't been very good lately at entering posts. I have been back to work about three weeks and don't feel like we have slowed down since. James is doing well and turned three months old yesterday, February 23. He has a wonderful nanny that we share with another family. So far, that seems to be working well. I am off on Wednesdays and get to be home with James. We have had some more snow and our first trip to Winston Salem.
My aunt Julie is very talented and has been knitting all kinds of items for James. She has made blankets, hats, and a sweater.
In the last few weeks, James has really started to smile a lot. We got a great picture of him smiling at my grandparent's house this weekend in Winston-Salem. He is sitting in a child's rocking chair that was my dad's when he was a little boy. He is also wearing a sweater my aunt made him!
Highlights:
Almost in size 2 diapers
Wearing some 6 month clothes
Weighs about 13.5 pounds
Eats 6 ounces at feedings
Only has one feeding in the middle of the night :)
Smiles a lot
Can grab the toys that hang on the bouncey seat
