Taking a bath in the sink!

We didn't bring James's tub to the beach, so we gave him a bath in the kitchen sink. He has really started splashing in the water and having fun during a bath.

Pool Time

James used the baby pool for the first time while we were at the beach. He had a blast!

6 months old!

I can't believe James is already 6 months old. Here are some new updates:

He is 18pds, 14 oz: 75%

He is 27.5" long: 90%

He wears 6-9 month clothes (mostly 9 month)

Has 2 bottom teeth

He wears size 3 diapers

He eats 2 containers of stage one food a day, cereal at night, and normally 5 bottles. We are starting some stage two foods.

He loves to jump!

He can roll over from his back to his stomach, but we are working on rolling back over. (this is causing a bit of problem during the night when he fussies b/c he can't turn back over).

He can sit up for a little bit by himself, but not very well.

He likes Chester and even reaches out to pet him.

We are very blessed that he is doing so well.

New Swing

Yancey's dad got James a swing to use on a tree in our front yard. It makes me smile everytime I turn in the driveway! James seems to like it too!

Wilson for the weekend!

For Memorial weekend, we went back to Wilson and stayed with Nana Jane and Papa.

Aunt Julie comes!

My Aunt Julie is the best! Whenever I need her to come keep James, she is there. They both have a great time!

Play Time!

We have the best Nanny in the world! Mrs. Lisa. We share her with our friends Mike and Bridget. Their son Ben is about 2 months older than James. It has been an answer to prayer.


This was one of the first days she kept them. They have gotten so much bigger!
