Aunt Julie comes!

My Aunt Julie is the best! Whenever I need her to come keep James, she is there. They both have a great time!

Play Time!

We have the best Nanny in the world! Mrs. Lisa. We share her with our friends Mike and Bridget. Their son Ben is about 2 months older than James. It has been an answer to prayer.


This was one of the first days she kept them. They have gotten so much bigger!

Visit with Claire and Katelyn

I love being able to have a day off during the week. Yancey says I'm never at home on my day off. This week's adventure was to meet Claire and Katelyn for lunch half way between Concord and Oxford. We had a great time. I can't believe how much they have grown, and that James is bigger than Katelyn!

James's Dedication

Sunday, May 9, was a special day for many reasons. It was Mother's Day, my Dad's Birthday, and James was dedicated at Oxford Baptist Church. We had a lot of family here to share this day with us! James was able to wear one of Yancey's outfits to be dedicated in.

James's First Hair Cut!

In preparation for James's Dedication on Mother's day, we decided to get his hair cut. He was born with a head full of hair, but has since lost a lot. Where the back of his head has very little hair, the top and sides have a lot. I thought we could get someone to just clip the part around the ears where the hair was hanging over. We took James to Ben's Barber Shop. This is where Yancey has gotten his hair cut since he was a little boy. Ben actually gave him a real hair cut! He looks like such a big boy!

First time to the beach!!!!!!!!!!!

This Easter we went to the beach like we normally do. This was James' first time at the beach! I was determined for him to touch the sand and the water!







We were able to go visit Claire and her family at their condo! Added bonus: the Easter Bunny!!!!!!!!





Of Course the Easter Bunny came to visit James bring a "Boo-Boo Bunny". Nana Jane bought such a cute outfit and we tried to take pictures...that didn't go as well as we planned!
